In the Hugo app, we’ve just launched AI Alerts. You can choose the new FLAG in the top menu bar (only available on v.17.0.1 upgrade required) and select which set of alerts you want to receive. Watch the video HERE.

Al alerts have been developed for Hugo in partnership with the University of Strathclyde. The alerts use algorithms to analyse up to 365 days of your smart meter data to create bespoke alerts that could help you save money and CO2.

Using the AI alerts tool, you can select to turn on the following alerts:

Green Alert	notification once every seven days if your usage is in the normal range
Yellow Alert	notification if your usage is above average in any 3-hour window
Amber Alert	notification if your usage goes high in any 3-hour window
Red Alert	notification if your usage goes very high in any 3-hour window
Monthly Reports	our new, improved monthly report provides insights and alert summaries.

You won’t trigger an alert just by using your dishwasher or charging your EV. The alert tool is just there to alert you if our algorithm thinks something is outside your standard behaviour patterns.

With winter approaching, we think this will be an excellent tool for all Hugo users keen to avoid overspending this winter.

We have also launched a new monthly report incorporating the alerts toolbox.

We will default to all users receiving an alert once a week if their usage is in the normal range and to receive an alert if they go into very high usage territory. However, please select the FLAG from the top menu bar and set up your alert preferences.

Hugo Pro Pricing will increase in early October.
